he Metropolitan Police have launched the route of a supply lorry to which they imagine Daniel Khalife strapped himself as a part of his escape from jail.

More than 150 officers and employees have been working across the clock to attempt to apprehend Khalife, 21, the drive stated.

The police stated a nationwide alert has been issued for the previous soldier, resulting in elevated safety at ports and borders.

There haven't been any confirmed sightings of him.

The drive stated Khalife was declared lacking at 7.50am on Wednesday and so they had been notified at 8.15am, after they took rapid motion to trace down the supply lorry that had left the jail.

The Met Police revealed the next route taken by the lorry:

The lorry left HMP Wandsworth at 7.32am on Wednesday, taking a proper end up of the gates on to Heathfield Road.

It then turned left on to Magdalen Road.

The lorry then turned left on to Trinity Road (A214), as much as the Wandsworth roundabout, taking the primary exit on to Swandon Way (A217).

It then turned left on to Old York Road, previous Wandsworth Town practice station, then left on to Fairfield Street.

It turned proper on to Wandsworth High Street (A3), staying straight forward on to West Hill after which on to Upper Richmond Road (A205), the place it was stopped by police close to the junction with Carlton Drive at 8.37am.

The lorry had rotated by the point police stopped it and had been returning to Wandsworth jail as a result of the motive force had been phoned by Bidfood, the corporate which owns it.

The firm has been “co-operating fully with the inquiry”, police stated.

Officers spoke to the motive force after which carried out an intensive search of the lorry.

During the search they found strapping on the underside of the automobile, which they imagine Khalife used as a part of his escape.

A Bidfood spokesman stated: “Yesterday morning we were made aware of a security incident involving one of our vehicles, whilst out on delivery.

“We can confirm that our driver fully co-operated with the police on this matter before returning back to the depot. We will continue to assist the authorities in their ongoing investigation.”
