Royal Blood storm off stage and swear at crowd enraging followers - 'Pathetic'

As demonstrated on a video of the Big Weekend's proceedings, singer and bassist Mike Kerr started berating the gang and referenced them as being one of many few rock acts on the line-up.

He yelled to the placid crowd: "Well, I guess I should introduce ourselves, seeing as no one knows who we are. We are called Royal Blood and this is rock music... who likes rock music?"

After a brief applause, Kerr rolled his eyes: "Nine people, brilliant."

After Royal Blood performed just a few extra songs, Kerr started hitting out on the crowd as soon as once more for not giving them the response they believed they deserved.

"We're having to clap ourselves," Kerr jeered. Because that was so pathetic."

Pointing out people in the crowd, he added: "Can you clap for us? You're busy."

At the end of the set, Royal Blood finished off their final song and Kerr dropped his guitar to the floor.

He instantly raised his arms and shot out both his middle fingers as he strutted off stage.

Meanwhile, the drummer could be seen telling people in the crowd to "smile".

After this video surfaced on Twitter, music lovers have viciously hit out at the band.

One angrily wrote: "Speaking as a Royal Blood fan, I'm all for forwards and backwards with the viewers however ideally not: 1) to an viewers of youngsters 2) while you come throughout like a sassy walk-on from Made In Chelsea Respect your viewers, at all times."
