The Transport Secretary has insisted that Sadiq Khan's personal science proves that his growth of the extremely low emission zone (ULEZ) to the entire of London is only a money seize and won't save lives.
The London Mayor's controversial coverage, which is costing hundreds of individuals Β£12.50 a day in a brand new driver tax, was brutally dismantled by Mark Harper in a brand new intervention.

"So his personal influence evaluation says it isn't about high quality. It's about income."
Many believe that he has the power to stop transport schemes which have a negative effect on people outside London or are contrary to government policy under the legislation which created the position of London Mayor.
But Mr Harper again insisted that he had looked into the issue extensively and been told he could not stop Khan.
He said: "Fundamentally, I haven't got the facility to do it.
"We've looked at it very carefully. I've taken internal legal advice from the department.
"But additionally I actually wished to kick the tires figuring out how regarding that is to folks in outer London.
"So I took external legal advice as well. And I just don't have the power to stop it.
"It's the choice of the London Mayor."
He urged people to back the Tory candidate for London Mayor, Susan Hall.
Mr Harper said: "If she's elected, she'll scrap it.
"If Londoners, particularly in outer London want to stop the expansion of ULEZ and to roll it back and then they need to elect Susan Hall next year. And that's what she'll do on day one."
Already, the Tories have gained a shock by-election victory in Uxbridge and South Ruislip on the again of fury over the ULEZ growth.
Mr Khan has at all times mentioned that the problem is about air high quality and claimed that increasing ULEZ will save round 4,000 lives a 12 months.
