Manchester United's lengthy takeover saga seems to be coming to an in depth with Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani reportedly being profitable in his bid to purchase the membership. It was again in late November when the Glazers introduced they have been "exploring strategic alternatives" for the membership.

It was quickly clear that the Glazers have been open to the thought of a full-scale sale with Sheikh Jassim and Sir Jim Ratcliffe rising because the frontrunners as early as February. Both respective bids have been vastly completely different with Sheikh Jassim aiming to purchase 100 per cent of the membership whereas Ratcliffe's was mentioned to be nearer to 60 per cent.

The British billionaire's supply would have reportedly had an open supply for each Avram and Joel Glazer to stay on board in some capability as minority shareholders. That proved an unpopular choose amongst some United followers, who threw their assist behind the Qatari deal.

And it now appears as if Sheikh Jassim has received the race to purchase the Old Trafford outfit.
