"Every day that Labour takes cash from Dale Vince one other ambulance is delayed, a hospital appointment is missed, a grieving relative cannot get to a funeral which proves it is a slap within the face to hardworking Brits attempting to get on with their lives.

Mr Hands urged for the money to be given back as he cited concerns about the "affect" of the eco-zealots on Labour.
