Solo Banksy exhibition to be held at Glasgow's Gallery of Modern Art revealing iconic stencils 'hidden away for years'

An exhibition of labor by famend graffiti artist Banksy will open in Glasgow this weekend, that includes stencils of his iconic works he has stored "hidden away for years".

The solo present, titled Cut & Run - 25 Years Card Labour, will characteristic most of the stencils used to create his most iconic artworks spanning from 1998 to the current day.

The exhibition is going down on the metropolis's Gallery of Modern Art (GoMA) and can run from this Sunday till 28 August.

Banksy stated: "I've kept these stencils hidden away for years, mindful they could be used as evidence in a charge of criminal damage.

"But that second appears to have handed, so now I'm exhibiting them in a gallery as artworks.

In the gallery label for the present, he stated: "For anyone who isn't aware - the statue out the front has had a cone on its head continuously for the past 40 odd years.
