South Africa have named Laura Wolvaardt as the brand new captain of their senior girls's group. Wolvaardt, 24, has for now been appointed for just below two months, for the tour of Pakistan and the house collection in opposition to New Zealand, which ends on October 15.

A CSA launch mentioned Wolvaardt's place might be reviewed following the conclusion of the New Zealand tour.

"What I can bring to the role is the experience that I have in the side.
