The outgoing boss of Britain's first spaceport is to hitch an American start-up amid an intensifying world battle for business experience.
Sky News has learnt that Melissa Quinn, whose departure as chief government of Spaceport Cornwall was introduced final month, is to turn into common supervisor of Seradata, a number one house sector analysis platform.
Industry sources stated Ms Quinn's appointment was more likely to be introduced by Seradata's dad or mum firm, Slingshot Aerospace, on Tuesday.
Her exit after a decade at Spaceport Cornwall comes a number of months after the failure of its inaugural mission, the Virgin Orbit launch in January which ended calamitously due to a dislodged gasoline filter.
