Two youngsters have been rushed to hospital after struggling electrical shock burns after "climbing on the roof of a goods train" at a railway station.

Emergency companies raced to the scene at Stechford Station, Birmingham, on Saturday afternoon, with no less than seven response automobiles and two fireplace engines being noticed on the scene.

West Midlands Fire Service has since confirmed that the incident concerned two boys who suffered burns after touching overhead strains on the prepare observe.

"The boys were treated for burns by paramedics on scene, before being taken to Birmingham Children's Hospital."
