A boy using an electrical bike has died after it smashed into an ambulance following a police chase in Salford. Pictures present a significant emergency service presence in Langworthy Road on Thursday.

Greater Manchester Police stated officers adopted {the teenager} as he rode alongside Fitzwarren Street onto Lower Seedley Road.

The drive stated bollards had stopped the police car from persevering with to observe him.

According to police, moments later there was a collision between the bike owner and ambulance.

The drive has referred itself to the Independent Office for Police Conduct over the incident.
