Evelin Chacko, 16, was discovered useless in a wooded space close to the Royal Bolton Hospital on July 13, 2020.

The teenager was admitted fewer than two weeks prior, on July 1, after she suffered an overdose at her household residence in Farnworth.

An inquest into her loss of life held at Bolton Coroners' Court heard that Miss Chacko was admitted to A&E and transferred to the hospital's C2 ward the subsequent day.

Coroner Alan Walsh heard the ward - which caters to grownup complicated care - was "inappropriate" for the teenager, who suffered from a "long history" of "suicidal ideation".
