Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said late Saturday, shortly before Yevgeny Prigozhin’s announcement of his retreat, that Saturday’s events showed "that the bosses of Russia don't management something."

Switching to Russian during his daily video address, Zelenskyy claimed that "the person from the Kremlin" was "very afraid."

Zelenskyy used the backdrop of the scenario in Russia to induce allies to offer Ukraine F-16 fighter plane and ATACMS tactical ballistic missiles, in addition to underlined the significance of Ukraine becoming a member of NATO.
