A decided group of Italians has launched into a mission to rescue a forgotten village from decay.

The village, San Severino di Centola, nestled within the Province of Salerno, Campania, had been left abandoned because the Nineteen Seventies.

The group, led by retired banker Silverio D’Angelo, is respiration new life into the medieval district of the village.

D’Angelo and his group, comprising eight different Italians dwelling throughout the nation, made a daring determination in 2008.
