Doctors have issued a warning to not use castor oil as a strategy to deal with imaginative and prescient issues following claims on TikTok.

Castor oil is a sort of vegetable oil historically used to deal with a spread of points like pores and skin infections. It is even a typical ingredient in some over-the-counter eye drops.

But dozens of TikTok movies have gone one step additional, claiming that by rubbing the oil over eyelids, eyelashes and beneath the attention, it helps to deal with dryness, floaters, cataracts, poor imaginative and prescient and even glaucoma.
