More than 100 individuals needed to shelter in a single day in a ferry terminal after a music pageant was cancelled throughout extreme climate.
The MV Clansman ferry was round half-hour away from the island of Tiree, within the Inner Hebrides, on Thursday night when the Tiree Music Festival was axed as a consequence of robust winds and rain.

Tiree Music Festival organisers stated it was "hugely disappointing" to need to cancel the occasion, including they didn't take the choice calmly.
In a press release on Thursday night it stated "the safety of everyone on site is our number one priority" and the choice was made based mostly on recommendation following the "extreme weather conditions we are facing".
"We are working extremely hard to make sure this process is safe and all-encompassing and to ensure every single person on site is relocated to safety and escorted to begin a safe journey home," it added.
