A person has been killed and two different individuals left critically injured after a prepare ran over a automotive at a stage crossing within the Spanish metropolis of Lugo.

The passenger prepare dragged the automotive for greater than 200 metres after colliding at round 9:55 am native time.

The man who died has not been named however is alleged to be 21 years previous and from Leon.

In the automotive have been two different passengers, aged 22 and 19, who needed to be evacuated and have been later hospitalised in a severe situation.

The crash happened on a monitor operating between Palencia and A Coruña.

The stage crossing the place the crash happened is reported to not have boundaries.

According to the Galacian news website La Voz De Galicia, the three males had been engaged on electrification work on the road when the prepare collided with their automobile.

Work to clear particles from the monitor and take away the prepare took emergency staff two hours.

Spanish police have launched an investigation into why the lads have been trying to cross over whereas a prepare was approaching the crossing.

A passenger on the prepare has recounted the second the automotive was hit.

José Manuel informed Radio Voz: "I'm still nervous. It was a metallic sound, which lasted for a few seconds. It was shocking."

He added: "There was a slight braking and, after that, we felt the metal dragging along the track."

Neither he or another passengers onboard the prepare on the time of the incident have been injured.
