Trent Boult is "very happy" to be again taking part in worldwide cricket forward of the World Cup in India, however stated that New Zealand Cricket (NZC) had by no means given him any ensures about choice for the match when he negotiated a launch from his central contract final 12 months.

I just hope I can add value and take the tournament very deep, like we have in the last couple of attempts. I feel like we can really push this tournament to the final stages and give it a good crack."
