A girl and a person have died following a devastating home hearth that gutted a house in a fairly residential avenue. The inferno ripped via the property on Woodland Terrace, in Darlington, County Durham, within the early hours of Saturday morning round 4.45am. 

Flames had engulfed each the bottom flooring and first flooring as firefighters arrived on the dwelling and a person was rescued from the blaze and rapidly transported to Newcastle's Royal Victoria Infirmary (RVI) to be handled for severe accidents.
