A girl has suffered horrific accidents after being set upon by two canines as she walked down the road. The girl, who's in her 20s, was attacked in St Helens, Merseyside, at about 11pm on Monday.
The girl suffered critical accidents to her arms, however is now in a secure situation in hospital.
Officers from Merseyside Police have seized the canines, though the breed has not been confirmed by the power.
Detective Inspector Barbara Hebden stated: "This incident has left a woman with significant injuries to her arms and it would have been an extremely painful and traumatic experience.
"Residents who stay on the road tried to assist the sufferer throughout the assault and I thank them for his or her courageous actions."
Det Insp Hebden added: "Following enquiries, we've got been capable of find the canines and so they have been detained for the protection of the neighborhood.
"We are now appealing for anyone who has information to come forward."
She stated Merseyside Police has a devoted group whose members assessment all circumstances regarding harmful canines and are eager to talk to the witnesses who noticed the assault.
The officer added: "I want to emphasize that dog owners need to be mindful of their dogsβ behaviours at all times, particularly when they are in the care of others."
