Two males have been arrested by officers investigating an explosion during which a ULEZ digital camera and surrounding property have been broken.
Officers from the Metropolitan Police's Counter Terrorism Command arrested a 60-year-old and a 61-year-old over the incident in Sidcup, southeast London.
They are being held on suspicion of conspiracy to trigger an explosion prone to endanger life or property, with the 61-year-old additionally arrested on suspicion of felony harm.
Nobody was injured within the explosion however autos and property have been broken.
The digital camera had been put in on the street on 6 December and was minimize down later within the day, one and a half hours earlier than it blew up.
A low-sophistication improvised explosive machine triggered the blast, police stated.
Detective Chief Superintendent Trevor Lawry stated: "The explosion may simply have had way more dangerous penalties, and at the moment's arrests spotlight simply how severely the Met is treating the incident.
"My local officers are continuing to work with and support the Counter Terrorism Command who are leading the investigation due to their specialism in dealing with incidents involving the use of explosives."
Both males stay in custody as searches are ongoing at two addresses in Sidcup and Horsham, West Sussex.
After the explosion, a spokesman for the mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, stated: "This grotesquely irresponsible behaviour puts both lives and property at risk."
With the purpose of bettering London's air high quality, the mayor expanded the ULEZ zone in August masking all boroughs in Greater London.

The transfer sparked fierce opposition and police have recorded greater than 1,000 crimes linked to ULEZ cameras being stolen or vandalised.
Motorists need to pay a £12.50 each day price to drive within the zone if their automobile doesn't meet emissions requirements.
The cameras are used to trace autos and verify if they should pay.
