Ukrainian teenager who fled the battle and was given a free place at a high London private school achieved three A-Levels regardless of solely learning for eight months.
Tymur Sabri, from Kyiv, arrived in London together with his mom in March final 12 months and moved in with a Chiswick resident who contacted Latymer Upper School in Hammersmith, the place charges are Β£24,000 a 12 months. The college supplied Tymur a free place.
He scored A, C and D in Music, Physics and Maths and can now go on to review music and sound recording on the University of Surrey.
Tymur needed to depart behind his father in Ukraine β who had himself fled battle in Aghanistan when he was a scholar β and his older brother Arthur, who's a medical scholar.
With his mom Svitlana he travelled to Poland, then Paris after which on to London.
Latymer Upper Schoolβs bursary scheme allow it to supply locations to youngsters fleeing conflicts around the globe. There are at the moment 13 college students on the college from Ukraine on a free place.
