Jake Weatherald will look to make a contemporary begin to his state profession after transferring to Tasmania on a two-year deal from South Australia.
Weatherald, 28, didn't play for South Australia since final December having stepped away from the sport to handle his psychological well being early within the BBL.
"I'm really excited and grateful to the Tigers for this opportunity," Weatherald stated. "I'm obviously also incredibly thankful to South Australian cricket for giving me my start and my initial opportunity, but I'm looking forward to embracing a new environment and continuing to learn so I can continue to grow my game in the coming years."
"I'm 28 and think I still have the opportunity to take my game to another level, so I'm looking forward to getting that journey underway in Hobart shortly."
He will stay with Adelaide Strikers within the BBL the place he has two extra years on his contract.
At Tasmania he'll add to the group's top-order choices which incorporates Australia A duo of Caleb Jewell and Tim Ward.

South Australia, together with the opposite states, will affirm their full lists for the 2023-24 season within the coming weeks.
