The spa therapist, from Crosby, realized she had stage three bowel cancer every week after her thirtieth birthday.

Reflecting on her signs, Megan mentioned: "I thought maybe I'm getting a bit gluten intolerant.

"I used to be getting actually bloated and had a sore abdomen. It was all very refined, it was most likely occurring for six months."

Megan shared: "I used to be fatigued however I believed possibly that was right down to 16-hour days [at work] and main a busy life. It wasn't constant, that is why I put it off."

After reserving an appointment together with her physician, Megan was given a blood check that got here again all clear.

Megan added: "[The doctor] said, 'Listen, it's not the gold standard but you don't need an operation. You can just get away with a tiny bit of tropic therapy.'

"They mentioned what you've got completed is wonderful. I simply fully averted the invasive surgical procedure they had been going to offer me."
