Annecy assault: British woman, 3, to depart hospital within the coming days, prosecutor says

he three-year-old British woman who was stabbed in Annecy will go away hospital within the coming days, officers have stated.
The woman was one among 4 youngsters – aged between 22 months and three-years-old, together with two adults, who have been attacked by a 31-year-old Syrian nationwide on Thursday.
Lead prosecutor, Line Bonnet-Mathis, confirmed the victims are not in life-threatening situation.
Ms Bonnet-Mathis additionally confirmed that French judges have preliminary charged a person with tried homicide following the assault.
In a translated assertion, she stated: “The prosecution service of Annecy immediately opened a case and the Central Directorate of the Judicial Police have also been involved.

“The prosecution service of Annecy opened a judicial case for attempted murder. The prosecution service put the assailant in provisional custody.
“And this afternoon he was going to be taken to court and he will appear before the judge.”
Emmanuel Macron travelled to the area to go to the victims saying that the British woman “is awake, she’s watching television”.
A critically injured Portuguese male — who was both knifed and wounded by a shot that police fired as they detained the suspected attacker — is regaining consciousness, Mr Macron said.
The second injured grownup was discharged from a hospital.
Police don’t consider the incident to be terror-related.
