An 11-year-old baby has died after dropping consciousness on board a Turkish Airlines flight, forcing the flight to make an emergency touchdown. On Sunday morning, the flight had taken off from Istanbul and was heading to New York.
However, the aircraft was compelled to make an emergency touchdown in Budapest.
Medics had been unable to resuscitate the kid on the scene.
The Airport Medical Service was scrambled after flight TK003 landed in Budapest, news company MTI reported.
The younger boy grew to become sick after boarding the flight that took off from Istanbul Airport at 8:56am native time (6:56am BST).
The 11-year-old is believed to be an American who was travelling together with his household.
