Controversial far-right Israeli minister Itamar Ben-Gvir taken to hospital after automobile accident

Israel’s safety minister, controversial far-right politician Itamar Ben-Gvir, has been taken to hospital with minor accidents after a automobile accident, police have mentioned.

Video on social media confirmed the automobile Mr Ben-Gvir was travelling in had flipped over.

Police mentioned they have been investigating the circumstances of the accident and that Mr Ben-Gvir’s daughter, a safety guard and a driver have been additionally injured.

His workplace mentioned the minister was in “good condition” following the crash.

Israeli media aired footage of a black automobile overturned within the street and quoted a witness who mentioned the automobile had run a purple gentle.

Mr Ben-Gvir was within the metropolis of Ramle close to Tel Aviv, visiting the location of what police mentioned was a suspected stabbing assault.

Central district police chief Avi Biton mentioned a 21-year-old man had stabbed a 19-year-old lady.

He added that the suspect had been trying to flee the scene when a civilian shot and “neutralised” him.

Israel’s ambulance service mentioned the lady was acutely aware however in severe situation and was taken to hospital for therapy.
