Father dies and children injured after grenade explodes in Indiana residence

n Indiana man has been killed and his two teenage youngsters injured after a hand grenade exploded of their residence.
The father was left fatally injured after the explosion on the residence in northwestern Indiana on Saturday night.
His son, 14, and daughter, 18, had been rushed to hospital with shrapnel wounds.
The household was trying via a grandfather’s belongings after they discovered a hand grenade.
The machine exploded when somebody reportedly pulled the pin, the sheriff’s division mentioned.
The father was discovered unresponsive on the scene and later pronounced useless.
Sheriff Oscar Martinez mentioned investigators had been attempting to find out what brought on the grenade to blow up within the residence about 30 miles southeast of Chicago.
Authorities didn’t instantly launch any extra details about the grenade or why the relative had it.
