Greta Thunberg arrested by police after staging five-day protest

Greta Thunberg has been arrested throughout the fifth day of protests by a local weather activist group in Sweden. The environmental campaigner was carried away by police along with different local weather activists from the organisation Ta Tillbaka Framtiden (Take Back the Future), who blocked the doorway to Oljehamnen neighbourhood in Malmo, Sweden, for the fifth day in a row.

The group has been blocking oil tankers within the Malmo harbour, with ways together with sitting on the street so the autos can’t drive out of the realm.

On Saturday Ms Thunberg tweeted about what was occurring. She mentioned: “Today, for the third day in a row, @TTFramtiden blocked oil tankers in the Malmö oil harbour.

“The local weather disaster is a matter of life and dying for numerous folks. We select to bodily cease fossil gas infrastructure. We are reclaiming the long run. #TaTillbakaFramtiden.”
