Police looking out 2024 Paris Olympics headquarters in corruption investigation

Police are looking out the headquarters of the 2024 Paris Olympics organisers as a part of a probe into suspected corruption.

A Paris 2024 spokesperson stated: “A police search is at the moment beneath manner on the headquarters of the Organising Committee.

“Paris 2024 is cooperating fully with the investigators to facilitate their investigations.”

An official with the monetary prosecutor’s workplace stated the searches are linked to 2 investigations that had not beforehand been made public and are primarily based on data offered by an anti-corruption company.

The Olympics will likely be held from 26 July to 11 August with the Paralympic Games going down from 28 August to six September.
