Passengers shocked to search out royal couple in economic system on flight to London

Travellers on a flight from Nice to London have been surprised to search out two royals sitting alongside them in economic system class.

Half-term holidaymakers coming back from Nice have been thrilled to search out Mike and Zara Tindall on their Air France flight, the pair having been overseas to look at the Monaco Grand Prix on Sunday.

Travellers on the flight to London Heathrow took pictures of the pair within the departure lounge and boarding the plane.

Zara, the late Queen‘s eldest granddaughter, appeared to want a relaxation as she laid her head again on the seat, whereas Mike checked out his telephone.

James Smith, a fellow passenger, advised The Sun: “I got a selfie with Mike before getting on the plane.”

The 36-year-old man added: “We were blown away that they were sitting in economy class.

“Everyone left them to thoughts their very own enterprise. I chatted to Mike. He was very pleasant and was a bit drained – most likely from an after get together from the F1.”

During the brief conversation with James, Mike talked about the race, which Red Bull’s Max Verstappen won.

Mike, the former rugby union star, was recently seen an easyJet flight to Ibiza after the King’s Coronation earlier this month.

The pair had earlier been pictured in Monte Carlo while attending the Grand Prix.

Thought to be the only members of the royal family in attendance, the loved-up couple looked joyous as they embraced one another for a sweet picture.

In true Tindall style, the pair looked coordinated in their best summer attire – both sporting a pale colour palette of white, pink, beige, and yellow tones.

Like the fashion-forward royal she is, Zara wowed fans in a gorgeous floral dress that complimented her bright blonde hair, while Mike opted for a sheer-striped yellow shirt.

While the pink number was the focal point of her outfit, eagle-eyed fans noticed that the 42-year-old had debuted some new accessories for the occasion too.

The mother-of-three looked radiant wearing the broderie-style dress which featured a crew neckline and puffed sleeves.

Teamed with her bronzed complexion and shoulder-length hair worn loosely down, Zara was pictured beaming at the racing event.

Worn previously by the royal for the Platinum Paegant in 2022, the Zimmermann dress features a midi hemline and long, textured sleeves with a cinched-in waistline.

The feminine number is known as the “Honour” floral belted midi costume and retails for $850 (£688.50).
