UK set for hottest day of 12 months this week as widespread sunshine predicted

The UK is about to face its hottest day of the 12 months to date this week, in accordance with the Met Office.

Wales and southwest England might face temperatures of 26C and even 27C on Thursday 8 June, and the weather company is predicting sunshine throughout the UK.

However, there may very well be showers and breezes within the South on the finish of the week, and the South West might face windier situations.

The east of England and its coast might see some cloudy climate, however usually, there shall be heat sunshine for a lot of this week.

On Sunday a lot of the UK basked within the solar with the best temperature recorded as 25C in Porthmadog, Wales.

Other locations noticed temperatures of over 24C, together with Castlederg in Northern Ireland, Bournemouth within the south of England, and Glasgow.
