Crawhall watercolour acquired for the nation on show in Edinburgh

watercolour by one of many Glasgow Boys – the gathering of radical younger painters who characterize the beginnings of modernism in Scottish portray – has been added to the nationwide assortment.

Joseph Crawhall’s Cock Pheasant with Foliage and Berries is now on show at Edinburgh’s National Gallery, with the 1906 portray being an instance of the artist’s distinctive watercolours of animals and birds.
