Boy, 15, dies in crash with ambulance in Salford after police e-bike pursuit
A 15-year-old boy using an e-bike has died in a collision with an ambulance after being adopted by police in Salford.
Greater Manchester Police mentioned officers started following a boy using an e-bike at round 2pm at this time on Fitzwarren Street.
Police have been compelled to interrupt off their chase due to bollards on Lower Seedley Road.
But in a press release, the pressure mentioned a short while later the e-bike and an ambulance collided on Langworthy Road.
The police added: “The 15-year-old boy riding the e-bike sadly died.”
The Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) is now main an investigation into what occurred.
