Manchester City FC star Jack Grealish has despatched a visually impaired superfan a letter in braille. Ralph, 10, stated he “couldn’t believe it” when obtained the letter from his idol alongside a signed shirt.

Ralph, who loves soccer, however has discovered it difficult to entry the sport on account of his visible impairment, just lately starred in a Guide Dogs TV advert.

Speaking to the Manchester Evening News, Ralph stated: “I’m so happy, I really want to say thank you to Jack.

“He is my idol and I like how he’s such a nice person and understanding of other people.”

Ralph reportedly initially wrote to Mr Grealish as a part of his classes in braille however stated he didn’t know if he would go to the hassle of replying again.

Mr Grealish has beforehand spoken of his shut relationship along with his sister Hollie, who has cerebral palsy. Ralph says this has made him admire the participant much more.

Ralph stated that Mr Grealish “understands that stuff” and talked about how he struggled to play soccer in his early years due to his visible impairment.

After discovering accessible routes into the sport, Ralph is now reportedly on the England pathway for visibly impaired or partially sighted kids.

Ralph’s mum Georgina stated: “He has had an amazing year. He starred in the Guide Dogs advert and that really boosted him and his confidence, and then he’s really progressed with his football. Football is his life and his escape.”

Georgina added: “It has all been very exciting for us, we’re huge City fans. We’re hoping Grealish will see this and we’d like him to know how much of a difference it makes.”
