James Maddison’s potential transfer to Manchester United has been gearing up as he seems to be set to go away Leicester in the summertime even when they keep away from relegation.

He has already been snapped in a United equipment beforehand and admitted of his “dream” to play at Old Trafford, having first moved to the Premier League from Norwich.

“I think my Premier League debut was the one [moment he didn’t expect],” Maddison informed Sky Sports in 2019. “At Old Trafford, Manchester United away, stood in the tunnel. Mourinho walks past and Pogba and co. I was just like ‘I’m here now, I’ve arrived. And now it’s time to go show everyone what I can do.’

“Because you’re employed so arduous to get to these moments and I do not assume you’ll be able to take them with no consideration. It’s a case of clearly staying grounded, it is my debut.

“But after the game, I did think to myself ‘I’ve just played at Old Trafford in the Premier League, something I dreamed about as a young boy.'”
