Boy, 11, killed and two critically injured in automotive crash close to Stonehenge

An 11-year-old boy has been killed and two others critically injured in a crash involving a automotive and a lorry close to Stonehenge.

The collision occurred on the A303 on Saturday evening and concerned a black BMW and a lorry that was parked in a layby, Wiltshire Police mentioned.

The boy, who was from London, was declared lifeless on the scene.

The driver of the automotive, a person in his 40s, and a 15-year-old male passenger, each from London, suffered probably life-changing accidents.

They have been taken to Southampton General Hospital.

The driver of the lorry was unhurt.

Acting Inspector Will Ayres, of the roads policing unit, mentioned: “This is a tragic incident the place a younger boy has misplaced his life and two extra individuals are in a critical situation in hospital.

“Their next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers. Our thoughts are with them at this very difficult time.

“I’d urge anybody who witnessed something to please get in contact with us.”
