BBC fails to apologise over false motive Nigel Farage’s Coutts account closed

The BBC’s enterprise editor has didn’t apologise after the company revealed an article claiming Nigel Farage’s Coutts accounts have been closed as a result of he couldn’t meet the wealth restrict.

The company revealed an article with the headline: “Nigel Farage bank account shut for falling below wealth limit”, earlier this month.

The textual content of the story disclosed the company was “told” in regards to the claims by a supply near decision-makers, who mentioned it was a “commercial” resolution.

The article was corrected after Mr Farage obtained information from the financial institution – which is owned by NatWest – disclosing Coutts’ reasoning.

He has since referred to as for an apology, however enterprise editor Simon Jack has failed to supply one since its unique publication on Tuesday, July 4.
