Matteo Bocelli groups up with Ed Sheeran on lovely new single launched right now

Andrea Bocelli’s son has been following in his father’s footsteps for the final 5 years, ever because the pair launched their duet Fall on Me.

Matteo Bocelli has been touring on and off with the maestro and sister Virginia Bocelli, after the three launched a Christmas album final December.

And now the 25-year-old is gearing as much as go solo together with his debut album Matteo, set for launch on September 22.

In the meantime, the rising star has put out a number of singles together with his newest launched right now alongside a music video filmed at Jamaica Beach on Italy’s Lake Garda.

Chasing Stars was co-written by Ed Sheeran and his brother Matthew and is a tune about household and discovering oneself.

Matteo stated: “Like the Sheeran brothers, I grew up in a family where music was very appreciated. Ed and Matthew wrote the song, but it seems like they wrote it for me. I really feel privileged to be the first to record it.

“I have always been a huge fan of Ed and never could have imagined that I’d have a piece of his work on my first album. It is a memory I will cherish forever. I hope you guys enjoy this song as much as I do.”

Ed Sheeran himself stated: “Chasing Stars was written by me and my brother Matthew about our father, and how he was supportive to us when we were younger with our music.

“I love the finished version with Matteo, he’s such a talent. I hope everyone else enjoys it!”

Matteo Bocelli will start his first headline tour in September, which can embrace performing on the London Palladium on October 3 and tickets will be booked here.
