Horror crash kills girl after ‘harmful pursuit’ as homicide probe launched

A horror street crash which killed a 27-year-old has prompted a police homicide investigation.

Amy-rose Wilson was recognized as the driving force of a Vauxhall Vectra who was killed within the two-vehicle collision on the B902 New Carron Road, in Falkirk following a “dangerous pursuit”. 

Emergency providers rushed to the scene following the crash however Ms Wilson was pronounced lifeless on-site. 

Two others sustained accidents – a 22-year-old male, who was a passenger in her car, and a 39-year-old man driving a black Volkswagen Tiguan. 

Police are actively in search of the occupants of a black Mercedes, which reportedly fled the scene. 

They say it’s “imperative” that they discover the individuals who have been contained in the car.

Before the collision, the Mercedes C-Class pursued the Vauxhall Vectra onto New Carron street following a confrontation, between the occupants of each automobiles, on Foundry Street in Falkirk. 

There has been an outpouring of tributes on social media after Ms Wilson’s loss of life, together with from devastated family and friends.

One person wrote:  “Oh Amy-rose Wilson my heart absolutely breaks for you and your family, such tragic news! I was only speaking to you last week. Sleep tight sweetie xxx.”

Another tribute, reported by Daily Mirror, stated: “Not the news you want to hear – one of your long times friends gone so tragically. 

“Amy-rose Wilson I’m sorry I’ve not been there for some time, you may be strongly missed however everyone knows you are not alone, you are with tiny now.”

Detective Inspector Hazel Reid said: “Our ideas are with the household and pals of the lady at this very troublesome time.
