LIV Golf Greenbrier Prize cash, TV channel to look at Johnson, Mickelson

LIV Golf returns this week, as Greenbrier performs host to the breakaway circuit for the very first time. Once a daily PGA Tour host course, Greenbrier now welcomes its LIV Golf rivals for the Saudi-backed league’s tenth match of the 2023 season.

Numerous LIV stars have loved previous success on the West Virginia course, with Danny Lee, Joaquin Niemann, and Kevin Na all winners of the Greenbrier Classic throughout their time on the PGA Tour. Ahead of the occasion, previous winner Na was quizzed on what it takes to win across the course.

He responded: “I think you’ve just got to play well. You’ve got to do everything well. You see Angel [Cabrera] as one of the winners (in 2014) is a bomber. Xander [Schauffele, who won in 2017] is obviously a solid ball striker. Him, he’s a bomber and does everything well.

“I’m a little bit of a shorter hitter but a great short game. Danny does everything well. I think it doesn’t suit one kind of player. I can tell you that it doesn’t just favor the bombers, which I think is great.

“I think when you have a golf course that all different kinds of players can win, it tells you it’s a great golf course.” Ahead of the 54-hole match which kicks off on Friday, right here is all the things it is advisable know.
