Man and girl hospitalised after concrete slab hurled at taxi

A person and a lady have been taken to hospital after a concrete slab was hurled at a taxi.

The slab was reportedly thrown from a pedestrian flyover on the B921, in Fife, Scotland. The pair have been in a taxi heading in the direction of Kinglassie at round 12.30am on Sunday, August 6.

A person and girl, each 37, have been taken to Glenrothes Hospital for remedy, reports the Daily Record. It is the third related incident to occur within the space.

A automobile was struck by a wheelie bin from above on Sunday, July 16. While one other automobile was hit on Wednesday, July 19.

No one was injured on the earlier events however the two automobiles concerned have been broken. Officers at the moment are interesting for witnesses.

Police Scotland Inspector Kirk Donnelly of Glenrothes Police Station, stated: “Two individuals have suffered accidents on account of these reckless actions and there might simply have been much more critical penalties.

“I would therefore appeal to anyone who witnessed any of the incidents or has any information that might assist with our inquiries to contact us on 101, quoting reference 0108 of August 6, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
