A person has been charged after RuPaul’s Drag Race star The Vivienne reported a homophobic assault earlier this 12 months.

The incident passed off at a McDonald’s on Edge Lane in Liverpool on 16 June, in accordance with Merseyside Police.

Alan Whitfield, 50, of Everton, has now been charged with assault by beating.

It comes after two males of their 20s and 30s had been stabbed in a homophobic attack in Clapham, southwest London on 13 August.

The Met Police have launched a picture of a person they want to converse to in reference to the incident.
