Horse dies after being hit by taxi as driver rushed to hospital
A horse has died and a taxi driver has suffered life-threatening accidents after a automobile hit the beast on an A street in Hertfordshire.
The taxi was travelling westbound on the A602 in Little Wymondley, close to Stevenage, at about 4.10am on Friday (August 18), in line with Hertfordshire Constabulary.
It reportedly crashed into the horse which had escaped from a discipline close by.
A passenger within the taxi was rushed to hospital with severe, however non-lifechanging, accidents and the horse was put down on the scene.
The street was closed in each instructions because the emergency companies handled the incident.
Sgt Dan Newton from the drive’s Road Policing Unit mentioned: “Our inquiries are continuing and we are appealing for anyone with information to please come forward.”
