Midfielder Joshua Thayil scored a last-minute match-winner as host Ernakulam defeated final 12 months’s runner-up Thrissur 1-0 and entered the ultimate of the 48^th Kerala State junior inter-district soccer championships on the Maharaja’s Stadium right here on Tuesday.

Ernakulam will meet defending champion Malappuram within the ultimate on Wednesday night. Malappuram edged previous Kasargod 7-6, through sudden demise, within the different semifinal. The two groups have been stage 1-1 on the finish of the regulation interval.
