Man charged with homicide of Donald ‘Prentice’ Patience after physique discovered by police responding to labradoodle theft

A person has been charged with homicide after police in Bury discovered a physique whereas responding to studies of a labradoodle being stolen.

Ian Gary Connell, 39, of Duke Street, Bolton, was on account of seem at Manchester and Salford Magistrates’ Court at present.

Donald ‘Prentice’ Patience, 45, was found by police at a property on Ainsworth Road at round 10.30am on Tuesday, the place the theft of the canine was believed to be in progress.

Greater Manchester Police mentioned Mr Patience, who was initially from Scotland, had been useless for a number of days, though the reason for dying remains to be unknown.

Mr Patience’s family members described him as “a much-loved son, brother and father” who “will be sorely missed by many”.

Two different males, aged 27 and 41, had been arrested on suspicion of homicide however have been bailed pending additional inquiries.

Police beforehand mentioned the canine, a white labradoodle, was being taken care of by a related authority.
