Surrey policewoman, 22, dies whereas on vacation in Greece

A 22-year-old policewoman from Surrey has died whereas on vacation, the drive has introduced.

Writing an announcement on X, previously often known as Twitter, Surrey Police mentioned: “On Friday 1 September we have been sadly made conscious of the sudden dying of a serving officer while they have been on vacation in Corfu, Greece.

“We are working to support both their family and their colleagues here during this extremely difficult time.

“An investigation into the circumstances of the dying is being led by the Greek authorities, and we await additional updates from them as they conduct their enquiries.”

Surrey Police Federation added her death was “devastating news”.

It added: “The ideas of all at Surrey Police Federation are with the officer’s household, associates and shut colleagues right now.

“Both the Federation and the force are supporting them.”
