Bournemouth horror – Physique elements probe: New bag present in seaside gardens
Detectives launched an investigation on August 26 after a girl stumbled upon a bag of physique elements whereas strolling up a cliff path in Boscombe, Bournemouth.
The man was recognized by detectives as Simon Shotton, following scientific evaluation.
Police later discovered different physique elements at two addresses within the city.
And on Wednesday, officers sealed off the general public gardens at Boscombe Chine, close to Boscombe Pier, after extra stays had been discovered.
Police haven’t but been capable of say precisely how or when Mr Shotton died.
They are interesting for witnesses who noticed somebody holding a black suitcase on the gardens from August 18 to September 1.
Det Insp Neil Third, of the Dorset Police main crime investigation staff, mentioned: “While we have yet to formally identify the latest remains discovered, at this time we do believe this is linked to our ongoing investigation.
“The family of Simon Shotton has been updated. Our thoughts remain with them at this very difficult time.”
Debbie Pereira, 38, and Benjamin Atkins, 48, each from Bournemouth, had been remanded in custody till October 20, charged with Mr Shotton’s homicide. They appeared through a video hyperlink at Bournemouth Crown Court on Wednesday.
