New sighting of Daniel Khalife as police descend on city in hunt for prisoner
Khalife, a suspected terrorist, escaped from HMP Wandsworth Prison on Wednesday morning (September 6), reportedly strapped to the underside of a lorry.
Since Khalife went lacking, there was a nationwide manhunt because the police hunt for the 21-year-old, who was being held in Wandsworth Prison till his trial for terrorism offences in November.
Khalife, who was sporting chef’s garments on the time, is believed to have strapped himself below a meals lorry to flee HMP Wandsworth when he absconded from the jail earlier this week
Since then there have been no absolute sightings of the fugitive till now, and airports and ports have been below tighter rules than regular as emergency companies urgently seek for the lacking prisoner.
One man was mistaken for Khalife at Banbury train station, the place he was briefly put in handcuffs whereas police confirmed he wasn’t the lacking ex-soldier.
