Ex-British boxing champion despatched to jail for breaking man’s jaw exterior pub
Former British super-welterweight champion Scott Fitzgerald has been sentenced to 46 weeks in jail after breaking a person’s jaw in a combat exterior of a pub in Preston. The altercation occurred on the Grand Junction in Ashton-On-Ribble.
Fitzgerald had been thrown out of the institution for inflicting an excessive amount of commotion by landlady Kirsty Allen. CCTV footage from the day of the assault (November 27 2022) confirmed the 31-year-old ‘bouncing across the pub’ beneath the affect of medicine and drink.
Allen swiftly locked the door however Fitzgerald tried to get again inside, shouting aggressively and kicking on the door. He was then seen to throwing a blow in the direction of one other man, Leevi Francis, who had headed exterior to intervene.
