UK set for hottest day of 12 months this week as widespread sunshine predicted

The UK is about to face its hottest day of the 12 months to date this week, in accordance with the Met Office.

Wales and southwest England might face temperatures of 26C and even 27C on Thursday 8 June, and the weather company is predicting sunshine throughout the UK.

However, there may very well be showers and breezes within the South on the finish of the week, and the South West might face windier situations.

The east of England and its coast might see some cloudy climate, however usually, there shall be heat sunshine for a lot of this week.

Met Office meteorologist Greg Dewhurst stated: “There will be lots of dry weather, with the sunnier skies always in the west and cloudier skies always in the east.

“Going ahead, temperatures are going to be related if not somewhat bit greater in direction of the tip of the week.

“This west-east split will be continuing with temperatures as well, so in western parts of the UK, temperatures will rise to around the mid-20s while the eastern side of the UK is more likely to see mid to high teens.

“Particularly on the coast, it would stay fairly chilly within the aast and fairly cloudy at occasions.”
